Il Campo 2003

The idea is to tell about the square of "Il Campo not only for its architectonic aspect but also for life, emotions, feelings that generate from it and that go on within it. Changing classical images, as antique paintings and prints, into black and white pictures, mostly with a reportage style. Pictures have been taken by great photograph masters: Alinari brothers, Francesco Cito, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Pepi Merisio, etc..."(...) Il Campo is assumed as a place of the world, not only to me who I grew up there, but also for who arrives from far away hemispheres and feels like being in the centre of civilization and of the planet's heart."
